| The boy'sgolf team practices Monday - Friday at the St. Ives Country Club. Team practice begins the first week in February and the season ends in May.
The golf team has participated in many championships and tournaments. They were the 1997- 98 Class AAAA State Champions, and the Region 6-AAAA Champions four out of the past five years. During the Hardaway Invitational in Columbus, GA, the CHS golf team tied for 1st place during the 1997-98 season, and placed 1st in the region in 1998-99 season. The team participates in the annual golf tournament in May at the Country Club of the South. One highlight of last year's tournament was a car donated for "Hole-in-one" auction. A special thanks to BMW Global Imports, Inc. for donating the car. The girl's golf team practices at the Rivermont and St. Ives Country Clubs. Team practice begins in February and the season ends in May. |
