parking regulations

In order to be considered for a parking permit, students must fill out the on-line application.

1. Permit is valid for parking in the Lot indicated EXCEPT in the spaces that are marked "RESERVED" , "HANDICAPPED" OR "VISITOR".
2. Cars must be legally parked in a designated parking space on a paved surface.
3. Cars parked in the Front Lot must be moved prior to 4:00 p.m. due to afternoon Band practice.
4. Permit must be permanently placed in the front windshield. They may NOT be taped in place.
5. Sharing the permit with another driver will result in the loss of the parking permit for all parties.
6. Lost or stolen permits cannot be replaced.
7. Students must follow Georgia law.
8. All riders in the vehicle MUST have a seat belt on before leaving the parking lot.
9. Drivers with a Class "D" provisional license are restricted from carrying passengers (except for family members) for six months from the date of issuance.
10. Cars parked without a valid permit properly displayed may bebooted, or towed, at the owner's expense.
11. If a legal parking space is not available, park in a Visitor's Space in the Front Lot, and immediately report to the Asst. Principal's Suite for assistance.
12. All faculty spaces are reserved from 6 a.m. until school is dismissed.
13. Permits may be revoked due to 5 tardies and/or unexcused absences to 1st period.
14. Chattahoochee reserves the right to revoke a student's parking privileges for the entire school year if a permitted vehicle is used during a disciplinary violation.
15. Students who receive more than two "Illegally Parked" warnings during a semester will forfeit their eligibility for a parking permit for the upcoming semester of parking.
16. A limited number of daily parking passes are available - for juniors and seniors only - for $1.00 a day. Each student is allowed to purchase only one pass per semester.
