Graduation Information

Senior Final Exam Exemptions

Seniors may exempt, during their final semester of attendance, the final exam in any class in which they meet the following criteria:

1.      average of 85 or higher in the seventeenth week
2.      no more than four (4) absences from the class (excluding field trips). Excused, Unexcused, ISS and OSS are considered absences from class
3.      no more than four (4) tardies from the class

Seniors who wish to exempt one or more exams must complete an exam exemption form.



Final Exam Policy

Attendance during final exams is mandatory.  Students absent on final exam days must have a parent/guardian contact the Attendance Office (770) 521-7614 on the morning of the absence in order for the absence to be considered as excused.  Prearranged absences will not be granted during final exams except in cases of very unusual circumstances.  Requests for prearranged absences during exam days must be submitted in writing to the principal.

Transcript Ordering Info

Please remember to use only a self-adhesive envelope (9x12) with two 1st class stamps, addressed to the college.
Include your $2.00 transcript fee (mandatory).
If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Moran in the Counseling office.



Baccalaureate Service for Graduating Seniors

Sunday, May 18th

Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church

Baccalaureate is an inspirational, non-denominational service sponsored by the Baccalaureate Committee. It is neither sponsored nor funded by Chattahoochee High School nor the PTSA. A donation of $25 per family is requested.

Withdrawal Forms

Forms will be printed on red-colored paper and distributed in homeroom on Monday, May 12 th and must be signed by all teachers and the Media Center to indicate that no fines or fees are due. Completed forms may be turned in to Mrs. Moran in counseling. Students will not be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony until all fines are paid in full. Additionally, diplomas and final transcripts will be withheld until all fines are paid in full. (Cash Only)



Graduation Practice

Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 1:45 P.M. a mandatory practice will be held at Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church, North Campus.  Seniors will need to park in the South lot which will be the second entrance on the right when traveling south on Old Alabama.  There will be signs to direct students to the appropriate parking area.  Students must submit a senior graduation withdrawal form by Friday, May 16th in order to attend graduation practice.  Students may Not participate in practice or commencement exercises until all fines are paid. 


Project Graduation

The parents of Chattahoochee High school wish to provide the seniors in the Class of 2008 with a substance-free and entertaining all-night graduation party on May 24, 2008. The party will be held at the Andretti Speed Lab. Information is available through the CHS PTSA.


Cap and Gown Orders:

You may still order your cap and gown from HR Campus Supply. Late order fees will be applied. After May 1 st, the student will be responsible for the actual pick up of the cap and gown from the Roswell office or you may pay an additional fee to have it shipped to your home address.
