·         Please remind all of your students that it is their responsibility to check the GHP web page (http://admin.doe.k12.ga.us/gadoe/blogs/ghpblog.nsf/DailyBlog) on January 4 for their exact interview time and directions to the interview site. 

·         Science students should review GHP Science: New Written Evidence Process that will be used at state interviews (http://admin.doe.k12.ga.us/gadoe/blogs/ghpblog.nsf/d6plinks/DLYS-8MTKZG)

·         In early January, the Social Studies simulation topics should be posted at http://admin.doe.k12.ga.us/gadoe/blogs/ghpblog.nsf/DailyBlog.

·         An optional after school workshop has been scheduled for Music nominees at North Springs HS on January 11.  More detailed information will be sent by January 5.  The workshop is completely optional and not required.  However, students will receive great tips and help preparing for their state interview.

·         The best resource for all semi-finalists as they prepare for state interviews is the nominating teacher.

 CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2012 GHP Semi-Finalists

The Governor's Honors Program (GHP) is a four-week summer residential program designed to provide intellectually gifted and artistically talented high school students challenging and enriching educational opportunities not usually available during the regular school year. 

 This year, the dates of the GHP Summer program are Sunday, June 24 - Saturday, July 21.
