Senior Trip April 24 & 25:
We still have 29 seats available for the Grad Bash at Walt Disney World. See Ms. Wallace in F119 for a permission form. Total cost: $130.00.

Graduation Ceremony:
Saturday, May 22rd, 2010, 3:00 PM

Graduation Practice:

Graduation Dress:
Boys: dress pants, solid white or pastel dress shirts, tie, and dress shoes. (No sandals, tennis shoes or hiking boots) Girls: “dressy” attire and dress shoes.

Graduation Tickets:
Each graduating senior will receive 6 tickets at graduation practice.  Additional tickets can be purchased for $10 each ticket.  Stay tuned for more information regarding when the tickets will be available for purchase.

Honor Cords:
Seniors may purchase them in the school store Monday, May 10 through Friday, May 14 in the school store for $10.  Honor pins will be given to each student who purchases an honor cord.

Organizations & Club Honor Accessories:
Members order and pay for their NHS, Beta Club and Honor Society collars, cords and tassels through the organizations’ sponsors.

Senior Week:
May 10th – 14th, 2010

Exam Exemption:
Forms will be distributed to English teachers on Monday, May 10th, 2010. Signatures of all exempting teachers must be secured. Completed forms must be turned in to the Assistant Principals’ Office by Friday, May 15th, 2010 by the end of third period.

Withdrawl Forms for Non Bar-Coded Books:
Forms will be printed on red-colored paper and distributed in homeroom on Monday, May 10th, 2010 and must be signed by all teachers and the Media Center to indicate that no fines or fees are due. These forms are also used to send your final transcripts to colleges and universities. Completed forms are due May 19th and may be turned in to Mrs. Leftenant in counseling. On the final due date for text books for seniors (Wednesday, May 19th ), forms will be collected in Room A 101 and should be turned in nolater than NOON. Seniors: You will not receive your high school diploma until all fines are paid and or all books are returned. Additionally, diplomas and final transcripts will be withheld until all fines are paid in full. (Cash Only)

Exam Schedule:
Tuesday, May 18th 2nd and 7th period Regular Schedule
Wednesday, May 19th 1st & 6th period Early Release (Graduation Practice)
Thursday, May 20th 3rd and 4th/5th period Early Release

Cap & Gown:
Balfour will be here February 9, 2010 to take cap and gown orders. The late fee will be applied starting March 1st of $10.00 and will increase $10.00 each month thereafter. Students may also place an order online at www.hrcampussupply.com under “Graduation Products”

Project Graduation:
Will be held at Stars and Strikes in Cumming, GA the evening of graduation, May 22 2010 from 11:30 P.M. until 6:00 A.M. CLICK HERE for more info.

Baby Picture Contest:
Submit your baby pictures and be eligible for the award in categories like Best Eyes, Most Athletic, Least Changed, etc. Deadline for entries is Friday, Feb 26th. Besure to turn in all entries to the Front Office. All pictures will be displayed in the cafeteria & voted on by the entire student body March 1st & 2nd during lunch. Winners will be announced Wednesday, March 3rd.

Baccalaureate Service for Graduating Seniors:
Sunday, May 16th 2010 @ 2 pm
Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church

Baccalaureate is an inspirational, non-denominational service sponsored by the Baccalaureate Committee. It is neither sponsored nor funded by Chattahoochee High School nor the PTSA. A donation of $25 per family is requested. Please contact Elaine Blanks for more information eblanks@comcast.net

Scholarship Recognition:
Seniors must bring in a copy their scholarship award letters to Dr. Don Bentley in the guidance office by Monday, May 10th in order to have their scholarships read at graduation. Due to the unpredictable nature of receiving HOPE Scholarship preliminary eligibility in time, Hope eligibility information will not be included in the ceremony.
