The CHS Counseling Department will host a Junior Parent Night Thursday, March 11th at 7:00pm. Topics covered will include: Junior Advisement, College Selection Process, College Entrance Exams, Scholarship Information and more!

Course Verification Forms
Course Verification forms for the 2010-11 school year are being distributed today. The courses listed on the front are the required courses recommended for the student by their current teacher. If you wish to change a required course the student must fill out a waiver and submit it by May 17, 2010. Waivers do not gaurantee placement in the requested course. If the required courses do not add up to 6.0 then electives should be ranked (located on the back of the sheet) in order of choice. CLICK HERE for full course descriptions. Course Verification sheets with parent/gaurdian signature are due to your homeroom teacher by March 15, 2010.

Cap and gown orders for graduation can be ordered online @ www.hrcampussupply.com. The fee is $75.

Attention TAG Students
All TAG juniors, sophomores, and freshmen need to attend the TAG meeting in the auditorium during your homeroom on Thursday March 11. This is a very important meeting.

Johns Creek Shakespeare Festival
Hear ye, hear ye! Come one, come all to the first ever Johns Creek Shakespeare Festival! The event, held on March 22 at 7pm in The Hangar at Perimeter Church, will feature student performances of famous Shakespearean plays from each of our Johns Creek high schools: Chattahoochee, Johns Creek and Northview. The evening will open with an appearance by the Bard himself and will conclude with a dessert reception at 8:30pm. All are welcome; tickets can be purchased at the door for just $3. Sponsored by the English and Drama departments of the area high schools, along with the support of the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce, the event will benefit Habitat Aid Initiative.

Grad Announcements
Seniors, Balfour will deliver graduation announcements on the gym track, Tuesday March 30th during all lunch periods.

Graphics & Visual Arts Show
We invite you to join us for the 3rd annual Verve graphics & visual arts gallery show at the Metropolitan Club 5895 Winward Parkway, Alpharetta GA April 22nd @ 6pm. Amazing art, appetizers, desserts, and music featuring the chattahoochee jazz trio. We will gladly accept donations in support of our students at the door.

Bingo Night at CHS! Tons of great prizes, including front row Thrashers tickets!
The CHS Music Association will be hosting their annual BINGO night, March 19th @ 7pm in the cafeteria. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Tickets will be on sale in the cafeteria as well as in the front office starting March 1st. All proceeds from this event benefit the music programs at CHS.

GHSGT Exam Schedule
Georgia High School Graduation Tests will be administered Monday March 15th - Thursday 18th with Friday March 19th for Make-up exams.
