Chattcougar.com is moving Our homepage is changing. We will be shifting to a new site (click here to preview) on Monday, March 25th. Dual Enrollment Attention students who are interested in College English or Dual Enrollment: Fulton County has set an earlier application deadline of March 29th (checklist). Additionally, supporting documents (high school transcript, SAT or ACT scores, immunization records, and parental consent form) are all now due by Fulton County’s deadline of May 1st. If you want to apply for College English or other Dual Enrollment classes through GPC, please make sure you submit your applications ASAP! **If you haven’t already taken the SAT or ACT, the April ACT test date will meet the May 1st deadline.** Please also see Mrs. Turner in the Counseling Office to sign the list of transcripts to be sent to GPC.
Senior Class Signs Senior yard signs are now on sale for $10. Drop off payment with your senior's name at the CHS front office by April 30, 2013. Checks payable to Chattahoochee PTSA. Pick up your sign at the concessions stand (across from Gym inside school) on Thursday May 9 and Friday May 10 from 3pm-4pm.
JCBA Scholarship The goal of the Johns Creek Business Association is to help promote the Johns Creek area as a place to develop and foster business. Two (2) $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to two deserving students. High school seniors from Northview, Johns Creek, Chattahoochee or Lambert High Schools in the Johns Creek area are eligible to apply. Additionally, any high school senior who is the child of a Johns Creek Business Association member is eligible, regardless of which high school he/she attends. With this scholarship, we wish to provide financial assistance to those students who will graduate in 2013 and who will attend an accredited college or university for the fall 2013 semester. Minimum overall GPA must be 3.2 or above or 92 numeric average or above. Your application packet (CLICK HERE to view) is due on or before May 31, 2013.
Safe Driving Week 4/8 - 4/12 The PTSA wants you to “Let Your Story Have a Happy Ending.” Safe Driving Week is right after Spring Break. The PTSA will have several events during the week before Prom geared towards the importance of Safe Driving.
Monday, April 8th – Speaker: Kimyung Kim will make you laugh and then cry when speaking about his experiences with drugs and alcohol and how they relate to Safe Driving.
Wednesday, April 10th – “Be Cool…..Don’t Text and Drive”: Students can pledge to W8 2 TXT. There will be giveaways in the cafeteria for those willing to make the pledge. Dress up in your favorite Hooch gear to “Show Spirit for Safe Driving”.
Friday, April 12th – “Let Your Story Have a Happy Ending” - Speaker: Ms. Zonja Brooks of Johns Creek Driving School will present the AAA PROMise. Dress up as a storybook character or in your best prom gear for a chance to win some HOOCH spirit wear!
